STEP 1: PREHEAT THE OVEN

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Use nonstick cooking spray to grease a 13X9-inch baking pan.

STEP 2: CREAM

Using a mixer, combine the cookie mix, Funfetti cake mix, butter, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
Mix for approximately 30 seconds on low speed.
Then reduce the speed to medium and beat for about 1 minute. Pour everything into your pan.
This will be a very thick mixture. You may need to push it down with clean hands.

FAQ

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN THE COOKIE BARS ARE READY?

Your nose will begin to smell them, but you may also test them with a toothpick.

Put a clean toothpick into the bars and pull it out. If the toothpick is clean, they’re ready to be pulled from the oven.

WHY IS MY FROSTING MELTING OFF THE COOKIE BARS?

You most likely did not allow the cookie dessert to cool completely. The frosting will melt right off the top if the dessert is still hot or warm.

LEFTOVER FUNFETTI BARS STORAGE?

It’s simple to store these dessert bars. Simply cover the container with a lid and store it in the refrigerator. They should be OK for the next few days without any problems. (Though I seriously doubt that they’ll last that long!)
